Such a Girl

Hard as it is to admit it, I think the transformation is complete. I still hate skirts (and probably always will), but other than that, I'm pretty much a girl. And how did I come to that realization? Well, a few weeks ago I went to a little party where they were selling cleaning stuff and purses. I was very intrigued by the cleaning stuff, and I was fairly sure I'd buy some, but I knew I wouldn't be buying any purses. Purses are nice and all, but I don't get super excited about them, and I don't spend a bunch of money on them. Sure, I bought a few off the street vendors in New York, but when you're in New York you kind of have to do that. And they're nice to have—they hold lots of stuff and can be cute. But still, I wasn't going to buy any at a party.

Yeah, that's what I thought was going to happen. The cleaning stuff was cool, and I bought some of that. In fact, it was so cool I'm having my own party in March. Then I got looking at the purses. Yes, they were cute. Yes, they were kind of awesome. They're Miche bags, so (for those of you who are as clueless about bags as I used to be) that means there's a base bag and then you can get different covers for it so you can switch things up without having to empty your entire purse. See, pretty awesome, right? So I bought a bag and two covers. OK, that's still not too girly. But then the orders came in. I got mine on Wednesday, and after I got home and showered and into my pjs, I just had to try my new purses out, so I strutted around the house with them slung over my arm—and dang, they were cute, even when I was just accessorizing my pajamas. Yep, total girl. But here's the clincher: I was transferring all my stuff over today, and guess what I  had to add? Lip gloss. Seriously. There's now officially no hope for me; I'm a total girl who just happens to prefer pants. Sigh.

Cute purses. Thanks for the 101 on Miche bags. I have heard about them plenty but didn't know they are shells. Great idea. That is one reason I don't get why people would want multiple purses...I'd HATE to move everything all the time! Cool concept. I'm picturing you strutting around modeling your bags. You make me smile.

Well I knew you were all girl from the beginning you just had to find out for your self. Love the bag concept and can see you strutting around , you used to do that when you were little don't you remember? You preferred dresses because that is what girls wear. :)

Plenty of girls prefer pants. Yep, you're definitely a girl and I look forward to seeing you strut with one of those cute purses.
