My Awesome Mom

About 35 years ago, I came into the world. One of the consequences of that was that my mom postponed her plans to graduate from college. Since then, she's raised four kids and had more adventures and experiences than she probably thought possible. She's learned and taught and lived, but until my youngest brother went off to college four years ago, she was too busy being a fabulous mom to go back and get her degree. But last Friday she finally did it. She graduated—summa cum laude, I might add! Yeah, we're all pretty darn proud of her. Thanks, Mom, for showing us all what persistence and hard work can bring you. You're awesome!
