Realization of the Day
Today I was in my car, minding my own business, listening to the "classic rock" station—you know, the one that plays music that was popular when my parents were in high school. Then what do I hear coming out of the speakers? U2's "One." As I reach over to turn the volume way up, something hits me: Wait a minute, this is from Achtung Baby. Achtung Baby came out in November 1991. I was in ninth grade in November 1991. This is now considered classic rock? Aarrrggghhh! I'm old.
