Getting Ready

There are very few things in life that bring me as much joy as getting out my suitcase and buying travel-size toiletries—and when I haven't done it in almost a year and a half, well, the giddiness is hard to contain.

It seems like there should be fireworks going off in the background accompanied by U2's "Beautiful Day" or something. I've started giggling with glee every time somebody mentions my trip or an airplane or Zumba or Wednesday. Yeah, it's going to be a great time—as long as I make it through the next two days first.
