Vegas Graduation Weekend

Yes, I've been neglecting my blog again. And yes, today is another catch-up day. Here we go, my three faithful readers (although I might be down to two now). In May my baby brother graduated from college. Yay, Jonathan! So of course I went down to Las Vegas to celebrate with him. First stop: Serendipity 3 for frozen hot chocolate. Have I mentioned how fabulous it is that I don't need to go all the way to New York for this little piece of heaven? Well, it's pretty darn fabulous.

Then it was on to the big event. So much fun sitting through two and a half hours for these six seconds:
Good thing I started my day with a Slurpee and Lucky Charms (breakfast of champions right there, people). Seriously, I'm so proud of that kid.

And then we decided to go celebrate in a way you can only celebrate in Vegas: Caesar's Palace buffet, baby! Yeah, there's a reason it's always on those lists of greatest buffets anywhere, let alone Vegas. Holy cow, we stuffed ourselves silly. And then we started on dessert, and stuffed ourselves even more silly. Public service announcement: if you ever go, save room for the made-to-order crepes. Oh my yumminess! An excellent way to end the boy's stay in Sin City. Congratulations, Jonathan!
