Yep, I finally christened my new mixer by making these cheesy garlic rolls. For my ability to get the real thing to match the picture in the cookbook, I give myself a D+ (one of the many reasons I will never appear on the Food Network, but I'm OK with that). They were pretty darn tasty, and I made them from scratch, yeast and all! Plus, my house now smells like bread. Mmm.

wow they look delicious. What kind of mixer did you get? :You never know you could show up on the food network maybe they will want beginners to show not all people have baking talents. I guess I could be one of those also :)
Cheese, garlic, and a yeast dough--sounds divine. You may need to send the recipe. Glad you're having fun with your mixer! I have an old, old Bosch that gets a lot of use, but I have to admit that I frequently find myself eyeing a new KitchenAid...
They still look good. Next time make something full of sugary goodness and you can give yourself an A even if they don't turn out.
