A Taste of Italy

I got back from an absolutely fabulous trip to Italy a few days ago. This is the first of what will be a few posts (containing a whole bunch of pictures) about that trip. We'll start with the food. Oh, there was pizza:

There was bruschetta and tiramisu and this fabulousness:

 

But most of all, there was gelato (and an Italian Slurpee and even some ice cream on the plane home):

 

Bahaha! Yes, I'm currently going through gelato withdrawal. And I'm also looking for someone who knows how to make pasta sauce the way the Italians do it, because holy yumminess!
