How Did This Happen?

Help! I think I'm turning into a girl! And it's all Megan's fault. It started last summer on our family's cruise in Hawaii when she convinced me that wearing heels was not against the law for someone as tall as I am. I borrowed her black strappy sandals to wear to dinner one night, and when we got home I went out and bought some for myself. It's all been downhill from there. In the last year, I've bought necklaces and bracelets and far too many pairs of shoes. I almost got a pink—yes, pink—dress, but since I had just bought two other dresses (for the wedding, not just because I thought I needed dresses) I didn't. It was close though, and if it hadn't been both pink and kind of frilly it would probably be hanging in my closet right now. So there, I thought I had my newfound girliness under control. But then I went out and got a pedicure tonight—again Megan's idea. I quite enjoyed it, my toes are very cute, and I'm a bit jealous of the flowers Marie got on her fingernails. Oh, dear. Next thing you know, I'll be buying something lacy and wanting to get my ears pierced. Yeah, right.

Hmm, where did you spot this pink dress?
That's a lovely pedicure, by the way. I think I need one.

umm...I really like pedicures! I think it is a luxury every girl needa once in a while. I try to treat myself once a year or so. And I don't think there is anything wrong with being a "little" girly. I actually didn't realize you didn't like pink. Have fun at the wedding tomorrow!
